Andrei Shevchenko is confident he will soon be amongst the goals for AC Milan, after making a slow start to his second coming at the San Siro.
The Ukrainian couldn’t hide his delight at making a return to Milan following two disastrous seasons in England with Chelsea, but just like the Rossoneri, he has made a slow start to the new campaign. However, this is something which isn’t concerning the 31-year-old.
"I'm starting to return to my best and Milan is doing it with me," said Shevchenko. "I'm working hard, but in no hurry, the goals will come. I know this game and at Milan I can be deployed in various roles. I am always available to the coach.”
Shevchenko didn’t play as Milan recorded their first win of the Serie A season with the 4-1 demolition of Lazio on Sunday, but he is in line to return to the side which travels to Reggina on Wednesday.
