As I try to predict the score line of each weeks matches, I can’t help get the feeling that they’ll be completely and utterly wrong. Still, if I did get everything spot on, wouldn’t you all be bashing down my door for advice? It’s all a bit of fun, apparently.

Bolton v Stoke, 15:00
Hull v Fulham, 15:00
West Ham v Wigan, 15:00

Arsenal are the favourites to win this by a mile, namely because West Brom are the new boys on the scene. Let’s go for a 3-0 win, it’s a new season so I presume that West Bromwill have studied their opponents. Bolton v Stoke has a horrible 0-0 draw all over it. Stoke will be finding their feet and Bolton need to convince us that it won’t be another scrappy season.

Everton v Blackburn should be a close call as both teams impressed last season. However, with Paul Ince taking the hard task of managing a Premiership club from League Two football, I think Everton will clinch this one 2-1. Hull v Fullham is another rubbish looking fixture. However, Hull could upset the old Premiership club with a 1-0 win as Fulham are shocking away from hom.

If Tottenham don’t thump a few past Middlesbrough, then it’s a worrying time down at White Heart Lane. A lot of money have been thrown at the club to make them look unbeatable. Kind of like what Newcastle tend to do. So, I’ll go for a 0-3 win to Spurs. Sunderland have bought players who do have Premiership experience behind them for a change. Consequently, I’ll stick my neck out and say they’ll get a point against Liverpool in a hard fought 2-2 draw.

West Ham get the chance to see how there summer spending has faired against Wigan. On paper, West Ham are stronger and should get a 2-1 win but Wiganare the sort of team to mess everything up for you.

Hmm, it’s a tough one between Villa and Man City. Both clubs have bought well, but with bloody Gareth Barry pissing around with who he wants to play for, I believe that this will unnerve the team greatly. Still, Paul Ince may not be finding his feet against experienced managers for a few games. So I’ll give Villa a 2-0 win. Chelsea need to prove to us all that all their mega purchases were worth it. Something tells me they will sweep Portsmouthaway. A 4-0 win doesn’t seem unlikely.

Man Utd may worry about not buying this summer. With a host of stars injured or on Olympic duty, they may suffer to a Newcastle team who have bought well and who are under a lot of positive thinking. Yes I’m a Newcastlefan, but I still expect them to nick a point in a 1-1 draw as they hopefully abuse Man Utd’s current weakness.
