Ronaldinho is desperate to clinch his dream move to AC Milan.
The Brazilian superstar is on his way out of Barcelona this summer, and despite intense interest in his services from English clubs Chelsea and Manchester City, he has decided that Serie A, and more specifically the San Siro, will be his next destination.
And after Rossoneri vice-president Adriano Galliani revealed the £20million asking price was not a problem but the forward’s wages are, the Gazzetta dello Sport claims the former Paris St Germain star is willing to lower his salary demands to a ‘mere’ £90,000-per-week over just two years.
This would earn Ronaldinho a total of £10million, plus bonuses, for the duration of his contract. Which means he is likely to earn even less than that other ‘slave’ of modern-day football, Cristiano Ronaldo of Manchester United.
